the different between west and east education

as a oversea student I want to say something about the different between West and East education.I am a student from China and now I am study in UK.So I will compare the two coutries.
First. Sense of equality and hierarchy. Westerners, a strong sense of equality, whether rich or poor, everyone will respect themselves and not allow others to infringe upon their rights. At the same time, everyone can fully respect others. In the United States, few people in their own pride in a prominent family background, but also very few people came with their own poor ashamed of, because they know that, as long as our own efforts, there will certainly be able to achieve success. As the United States a popular proverb says: "if they work hard, denim can be president." (If working hard, even a cowboy can be president.) Although the establishment of New China for nearly six decades, but the traditional ruler and subject, father and son the sense of hierarchy in China, is still deeply rooted in people's minds. Father in his son's eyes, the eyes of teachers, students have the absolute authority of the family background in human development still plays a very important role.
Then nuclear family with four generations living under one roof. American family structure is relatively simple: parents and minor children, called nuclear families. Once the children get married, you have to move away from the economy also must be independent. Parents are no longer obliged to support their children. This approach to young people to provide maximum freedom and develop their ability to live independently, but also alienated the family relationship. Chinese-style family structure more complex, the traditional family is four generations living under one roof well-being. In such families, the elderly to help look after children, children and grandchildren grow up to help maintain the elderly, family members rely on each other and help each other, closer kinship ties. However, this lifestyle is not conducive to nurturing young people's independence.

the parliment

Composition of the modern British Parliament by the King, the Senate and the House composition. Members of non-elected upper house, is a religious aristocracy (archbishops, bishops), hereditary aristocracy, life peers, royal families and nobles Appellate (senior judges, the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General, etc.), with about 1,000 current members. MP by the voters by small majority representation constituencies through direct elections, the existing 650 members. Members of each House of the longest term of 5 years the minimum age limit for members of both Houses are 21 years of age. Concurrently by a judge on the House Speaker, the House Speaker from the majority party members as usual. Upper and lower houses are equipped with a full-house committee, the Standing Committee, the Special Committee, the Joint Commission and other agencies to assist the House to review the motion.
Frankly admitted that the British Parliament took the lead within the existing political parties in Parliament, and by each party to hold the number of seats assigned its constitutional functions. Access to civilians, the majority of seats in homes that come forward to form a government of political parties, the exercise of executive power, but also access to the civilian hospital organizations, the legislative work and other work privileges. Court times obtain the majority of seats in the civilian political parties that led the opposition to be a grand, get organized in consultation with the majority party agenda for the privilege of civilian homes, and the right to represent the opposition parties should debate the Government's motion, declarations, etc., are also entitled to a separate part of the arrangements civilian hospital time, motion, and the civilian leadership of the Ad Hoc Committee on a number of key hospital. Seats than the opposition parties led by the opposition parties also enjoy a number of other rights. Overall, the majority of the executive and legislative leadership of the party, the opposition is responsible for monitoring the government. By the majority party - the opposition between models, the British Parliament by Members of the pursuit of fame, so that they bear the corresponding relationship between their political parties, constitutional duty, to break the period of the previous party system of government - parliament against the relationship, and instead form a majority party, the government - the opposition against the relationship, the political situation and the constitutional role of cross-up. Reference to the British system of melting right parliamentary majority also cited the country's first majority party in the UK - the opposition system.

Gunpowder Plot

The Gunpowder Plot of 1605, in earlier centuries often called the Gunpowder Treason Plot, was a failed assassination attempt against King James I of England and VI of Scotland by a group of provincial English Catholics led by Sir Robert Catesby.
In January 1606, during the first sitting of Parliament since the plot, the Observance of 5th November Act 1605 was passed, making services and sermons commemorating the event an annual feature of English life;the act remained in force until 1859. The tradition of marking the day with the ringing of church bells and bonfires started soon after the Plot's discovery, and fireworks were included in some of the earliest celebrations. In Britain, the 5th of November is variously called Bonfire Night, Fireworks Night, or Guy Fawkes Night.
It remains the custom in Britain, on or around 5 November, to let off fireworks. Traditionally, in the weeks running up to the 5th, children made "guys" – effigies supposedly of Fawkes – usually made from old clothes stuffed with newspaper, and fitted with a grotesque mask, to be burnt on the 5 November bonfire. These guys were exhibited in the street to collect money for fireworks, although this custom has become less common. The word guy thus came in the 19th century to mean an oddly dressed person, and hence in the 20th and 21st centuries to mean any male person.
November the 5th firework displays and bonfire parties are common throughout Britain, in major public displays and in private gardens. In some areas, particularly in Sussex, there are extensive processions, large bonfires and firework displays organised by local bonfire societies, the most elaborate of which take place in Lewes.
According to the biographer Esther Forbes, the Guy Fawkes Day celebration in the pre-revolutionary American colonies was a very popular holiday. In Boston, the revelry took on anti-authoritarian overtones, and often became so dangerous that many would not venture out of their homes.

the different of the flags in four part of British Isles

British Isles has four part which are England,Wales,Scotland and Republic of Ireland.I want to say something about the different flags of the four part.
The flag of England called St George's Cross;the flag of Wales called Dragon of Cadwallader;Scotland has two flags, one is St Andrew's Cross and the other is Lion rampant;Ireland is the simelar as Scotland, also has two flags, which named St Patrick's Cross and Republic of Ireland.
The Union Jack is the national flag of the UK.It is a combination of the cross of  St George.the cross of St Andrew and the cross of St Patrick. But Welsh person perhaps not like the flag becouse there is no dragon in the flag.
